Mini

MINI is located on the Montevideo promenade and proposes a way of living based on the intelligent use of space. The project brings together studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments within a compact, contemporary residential building connected to the coastal landscape.

Designed by Monoblock, it has nine floors of housing, eleven studio units and 25 one- and two-bedroom apartments. The diversity of typologies allows us to respond both to those looking for a first home and to residents who prioritize a practical urban life or to investors interested in functional and well-located units.

The MINI concept is not limited to reducing surfaces. The proposal seeks to ensure that each square meter has a clear function and that the apartments maintain a feeling of spaciousness through a good entry of natural light, efficient distributions and a direct relationship with the exterior. The openings, expansions and views towards the city and the Río de la Plata are an essential part of that strategy.

The common spaces expand the possibilities of use of the building and allow certain activities not to have to be concentrated within each residence. The project incorporates amenities intended for exercise, rest and social life, including a swimming channel with the presence of natural rock and other shared spaces designed as extensions of the home.

This combination of compact units and collective services responds to a broader transformation in the ways of living the city. MINI prioritizes location, mobility, access to services and the quality of spaces over the accumulation of surface area.

The result is a flexible and contemporary residential proposal: an architecture of contained scale that seeks to maximize the daily experience. Facing the promenade and within an environment with history, MINI demonstrates that a home can be efficient without feeling limited and that small, when properly designed, can become a freer way of living.
