Risco

RISCO is developed in Punta Carretas, at a point from which direct relations are established with the Golf Club, the promenade, the lighthouse, the Punta Carretas Shopping and the residential fabric of the neighborhood. Its location combines the proximity of the sea with a wide network of services, green spaces, gastronomic proposals and connections to different sectors of Montevideo.

Designed by Monoblock, the project brings together 34 residences, two commercial premises and three offices. The homes include one-, two- and three-bedroom units, with diverse floor sizes and configurations ranging from compact apartments to large-scale residences and dependency units.

The architecture is characterized by solid materiality and a facade covered in natural stone. This choice defines the identity of the building and establishes a dialogue with the idea of ​​rock that gives its name to the project. Its presence is forceful, but it seeks to integrate with the tones, vegetation and scale of Punta Carretas.

The units were designed to take advantage of natural light, views of the sea and golf and the relationship with the exterior expansions. The interiors use materials selected for their durability and their ability to create warm, sober and comfortable environments.

The project incorporates common spaces aimed at well-being, physical activity and meetings between residents. Its residential program is complemented by offices and commercial premises, providing greater diversity to the building and a more active relationship with the street.

RISCO interprets Punta Carretas from a contemporary perspective. It does not seek to reproduce a literal coastal image, but rather to work with solidity, texture and permanence as architectural concepts. The result is a building with a clear material identity, designed for those who value the proximity of the landscape and urban life, but also privacy, construction quality and the character of the spaces they inhabit.
